Rank is how much Gear Mario, Luigi, and Bowser can carry in Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. They can also give Mario and Luigi the ability to shop at certain places in the Mall around the Mushroom Kingdom. Both the Mario Bros. and Bowser have five ranks to reach plus one secret rank for both groups.
Mario and Luigi's Ranks[]
These are the ranks Mario and Luigi can reach:
- Mushroom Rank
- Shell Rank
- Flower Rank
- Shine Rank
- Star Rank
Bowser's Ranks[]
These are the ranks that Bowser can reach:
- Bronze Boss Rank
- Silver Boss Rank
- Gold Boss Rank
Secret Ranks[]
There are secret ranks for both the Mario Bros. and Bowser. The player must be on level 40 to earn them.
